I like sitting around campfires and long walks in the woods…wait…this isn’t one of those bios…

I started running in 2017 to lose weight, get in shape and run my first 5K ever. I messaged a friend who was a cross country coach and asked if he’d train me to run a 5K. As we started training, he would take me every now and then to some trails to run. At that point, my love for trail running was birthed. I quickly found it became a good release from the stress of everyday life. I even find myself dreaming of the trails while at work and can’t wait to head out and explore them.
